Art Exhibition of "Pupil and Master"

New Zealands historic Nelson College celebrates 150 years in April 2006. The celebrations will start off with an exhibition of artwork called " Pupil and Master" opening at the Nelson Provincial Museum.The museum is situated on the Cnr Hardy and Trafalgar St . Exhibition opens the 6th April 5.30pm to 7.30pm. It will be open to the public at the museum through April. Darryl Robertson will be exhibiting a large work in the show , "NOTHING EVER BLACK AND WHITE" based on some WW11 events between two men on opposing sides of the battle of Monte Cassino.Italy Sally Papps the curator of the show said their will be approx 80 works on show from people who were at the college between 1950-1990,students and teachers, however a few either side of this as well. Some from masters as early and John Gully. However many but not all of ther 80 works will be for sale.
