Japanese Film Crew Visits.

Director Tomoko Kiriyama and 7 other film crew will visit Bronte Gallery to film
mid april 2006 For a travel show in Japan.Anaham music also in the mix in Japanese TV Show.

Famous Japanese Producer / director Tomoko Kiriyama will be filming a article at Bronte Gallery and Bronte Lodge for " Tabi Salad " Travel Salad, for Japanese Asahi television during mid april.
A show that is seen on 27 channels by 10 million viewers each week .

NOTE !. VIEWING ON CHANNEL 10 , FROM approx 8.00 TO 9.30 IN JAPAN ON 6TH MAY 2006

The programe segment at Bronte Gallery will be centred on the beautiful works of art of Darryl Robertson and Lesley Jacka Robertson.Conversation with Maako Kido the well known actress presenter and Darryl Robertson , about his artwork and filming the making of a sculpture.Maako even trying her hand at some work on a sculpture.

Also being filmed the private luxury accomodation just across the road from Bronte Gallery at Bronte Lodge and surrounding waters of the Waimea Inlet.Also into the Able Tasman park area ,including the secluded and beautiful Awaroa Lodge, Farwell Spit, the Nelson scenery , the Smokehouse Cafe, Wilson's Able Tasman tours.The crew will film 3 other episodes in other parts of New Zealand.

Tomoko Kiriyama has been a full time director producer for the past 15 years, a position that has taken her around the world many times.Highly experienced she sources and visits most locations and in the case of Bronte Gallery 3 visits prior to filming to set up everything.

Tomoko heard the music of Nelson based Rock Band Anaham and is very keen to use Anaham's music in the Nelson programmes backing music mix as well as requesting permission to use the music in the other three shows as well.This is something the members of Anaham are reall " rapt about".Tomoko selects all the music personally for every show and also completes all editing herself ."Its a great honour for us and our music for Tomoko Kiriyama run Anahams music on Tabi Salad shows in Japan,"Its really great !! it is such a famous and well viewed televison show in Japan" they said.

She will be producing 4 programs on New Zealand in this filming series with her 7 person crew, including the very well known actress/presenter Maako Kido , assistant director Jungo Miyata,Cameraman Masahiro Sawai, assiatant cameraman Naoki Wakabayashi, Make up artist Masao Suzuki, New Zealand crew,coordinator Richard Ryall ,driver Adrian Boyd. A very experienced international televison crew.

Tabi Salad is based of fresh travel ideas in destination and type for the Japanese viewers and has been run continuously for 13 years, is broadcast on 27 channels throughout Japan every Saturday morning to audience of 10 million viewers.

UPDATE !!! 14TH APRIL 2006

Tomoko kiriyama Producer/ Director), Maako Kido (Actress) and all the othe members of the Film crew
completed filming yesterday and it did prove to be a great time.

All of the members making a very professional crew , who worked extremely well together making it a very relaxed creative time.Kiwi support from Richard Ryall from queenstown helped everything run smoothly.

From this filming in Nelson They should get some great footage and the park is sunny and clear as it is at Bronte Gallery with a still calm reflective water in the Waimea Estuary.

The Tabi Salad Nelson show is due to be shown in Japan early may , most likely Saturday the 6th May.
with each of the 4 shows being screened each Saturday morning through May.
