Quay Gallery Opening, Napier

Darryl Robertson and Lesley Jacka Robertson now represented by Quay Gallery in Napier.

Richard Meyers and well known Artist Sue Schaare who live in Napier are embarking on a new adventure, They will open their new Gallery called Quay Gallery at 14 West Quay ,Ahuriri Napier in early to mid December 2007.

Both Darryl Robertson and Lesley Jacka Robertson from Bronte Gallery in Nelson have been invited to be represented
by Quay Gallery. This is something that they are very happy to be part of according to Darryl.
"Sue and Richard are clearly putting a lot of time thought and expertise into this gallery. Sue has had years of exhibiting and painting and wants to set up this gallery in the way she would like her works to be shown and to represent her artists in the very same way and that's great !"

Both Lesley and Darryl will be exhibiting new works at the opening, Lesley new examples of her  amazing painting of figurative nudes that so many people love ,and Darryl his very individual sculptures from clay that have become iconic expressions of his work.

The gallery will have a license to serve and sell drinks which guest can enjoy while viewing are or while they sit and enjoy the gallery.
