Four artists at Reflections

16th February, 2008

"Modern Collectable"The group show buy Four artists at Reflections Gallery in The World Of Wearable Arts Complex in Nelson New Zealand.
opening 17th March -April 28th

Darryl Robertson Nelson Artist will show painting and sculpture, Tony De Lautour from Christchurch wood block
Prints,Peter Cleverley from Kakanui near Oamaru painting and Katie Gold from Nelson will be showing Ceramic art.

It will be a very interesting show as the 3 artists that paint have been described as modern translators of stories in paint. Not only are they great painters but the are interesting thought inspiring , very collectable and they have a depth of meaning and individual character within them. Each artist with a language of their own.As does Gold in the bright ceramic works she creates.

Robertson has exhibited all over New Zealand and round the world , De Lautour and Cleverley and Gold we selected and invited by Robertson to join this show. This concept was endorsed by the gallery director Marian Wolfs who said it was refreshing and exciting for Reflections to curate a show like this with such well respected and collectable artists. It will be well received in Nelson. This is the first time the selection has been done by a person other than her which she said makes it exciting and stimulating for her as well.
Make a stop and visit the gallery during this time to see some fantastic new art by four very interesting modern artistic translators .

Opening the 17th of March runs until 28th April 2008. runs through Easter holiday
