Ceramic painting 360mm across
Inspired by the whales off the east coast of the New Zealand South Island near a place called Kaikoura.
Awarded gold medal and Jury Prize
at the Cairo International Biennale for Ceramics, Giza, Egypt.
The work is held in the collection of
the National Centre of Fine Arts, Giza Egypt.
Later after the exhibition Robertson was commissioned to produce a similar work by the New Zealand Embassy in Riyad Saudi Arabia.
After an invitation exhibition to exhibit his artwork in Taiwan a work from the same series was purchased for the Taipei Fine Arts MuseumPermanent Collection.
